eMAG – is the commercial name of S.C. DANTE INTERNATIONAL S.A., a Romanian legal entity having the registered office in Bucharest, 148 Soseaua Virtutii, 6th district, having the registration number with the Trade Register J40/372/23.01.2002, tax registration code RO14399840.


Site – domain www.cariere.emag.ro and its subdomains.


Candidate – natural person uploading a C.V. on the Site.


Account – a section from the Site consisting in an e-mail address and a password allowing the Candidate to apply for the vacant positions published by eMAG on the Site or to upload a C.V. on the Site.



1. RECRUITMENT POLICY


1.1. The access of any natural person to the Site in order to upload a C.V. is allowed only after creating an Account.


1.2. The communication with the Candidate may be done by direct interaction with it or through the addresses provided in the C.V. uploaded on the Site.


1.3. eMAG will analyze the C.V.s uploaded on the Site and will contact only the Candidates that correspond to job requirements.



2. CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY


2.1 Any type of information provided by the Candidate shall remain eMAG’s property.


2.2. By uploading the C.V. on the Site, the Candidate offers eMAG unrestricted and irrevocable access to it as well as the right to use it for the recruitment of its own employees.


2.3. By uploading the C.V. on the Site, the Candidate expressly consents, within the limit of the effective law, to be contacted by eMAG, both for the job he/she has applied to and for any other job for which eMAG considers that the Candidate has the necessary skills.



3. PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA


3.1. eMAG is recorded with the Register of Personal Data Operators under the number 6606.


3.2. According to the requirements of the Law no. 677/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, as amended and supplemented, eMAG has the obligation to safely manage Candidate’s data and only for the specified purposes.


3.3. The purpose of collecting personal data is: contacting the Candidates in order to occupy a vacant job within eMAG.


3.4. By uploading the C.V. on the Site, the Candidate unconditionally states and accepts that his/her personal data be included in eMAG database, and expressly and unequivocally consents that such personal data be stored, used and processed by eMAG during the performance of the possible employees recruitment process.


3.5. Through the creation of an Account the Candidate states that he/she has been informed on the fact that he/she is guaranteed the legal rights, respectively the right to information, the right to access the data, the right to intervention, the right to oppose, the right of not being subject to an individual decision, the right of resorting to justice in case of breach of the rights provided by the Law 677/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.


3.6. Based on a written request, dated, signed and dispatched at the address: 15-23 Soseaua Bucuresti-Nord, Swan Office Park, Windsor Building, 5th floor, Voluntari, Ilfov county, in attention of S.C. DANTE INTERNATIONAL S.A., the Candidate may exercise, as the case may be:

  • the right to access the data, according to which the envisaged person has the right to obtain from eMAG, at request and free of charge, one request per year, the confirmation of the fact that the data concerning him/her are or processed or not by eMAG.
  • the right to oppose, according to which the envisaged person has the right to oppose in any moment, due to grounded and legal reasons related to his/her own situation, that the data envisaging it be the object of a processing, except for the cases in which legal contrary provisions are in force.
  • the right to intervention on the data, according to which the envisaged person has the right to obtain from eMAG, at request and free of charge: a) as the case may be, the rectification, update, blocking or deletion of the data whose processing does not comply with the law, especially of the incomplete or inaccurate data; b) as the case may be, the transformation into anonymous data of the data whose processing does not comply with the legal provisions.
